Unique Article Wizard Review

Overview
Unique Article Wizard (also known online as UAW) has been a strong leader in article submission on the Internet for a couple of years. In fact, in many ways, it was the father of this network distribution format – at least the most popular of these tools. The size of the network is constantly changing but currently stands at well over 3,000 sites. The difference with UAW is that though that number may be lower than some other solutions, it uses more sophisticated algorithms for matching your content with the publishers sites so, in reality, you get more distributions.
Spin Away
Article spinning is a core requirement for getting massive penetration on the Net and wide circulation. Article spinning allows you to create many different “unique” versions of your article and we all know that Google loves unique content. Many of the article submission programs available have a very cumbersome process and syntax for article spinning. UAW takes a very different approach. Rather than using a bunch of weird syntax, it simply has you write three versions of each paragraph of your article. This can be accomplished in either of two different approaches. You can either utilize the online wizard that walks you through the process paragraph by paragraph, or you can upload three distinct versions of your article as three separate files and it will do all of the parsing from there. The second approach is the preferred method once you have the basics down, but the wizard is a nice way to get started and learn the way the program works.
The links are embedded not within the article itself, but within the resource box of the article and are limited to two links. There is also a separate spinning process for the resource box in order to generate various versions of it as well. And as this is spun content, you can also spin the anchor text and links as well to give a wide diversification and natural appearance to your link building campaign.
The Structure
As described above, a UAW article is really three articles – or three versions of the same article. The article submission software then takes these three separate versions of each paragraph and programmatically and automatically combines them into a virtually limitless number of unique articles to be distributed across its network.
The article is broken up into separate sections. The Title, the Author, the body and the resource box. There are also two other important meta data tags associated with the article – the keywords and the categories. The Unique Article Wizard uses the keywords and the categories you select (three different categories) to give you a very wide distribution among its network of sites. The combination of multiple keywords and multiple categories yields better results than its competition in terms of article distribution.
The article Title is also “spinnable” and that is very important. The wizard walks you through this process for creating multiple versions of the article title. Likewise, the author resource box is a vital part of your article as it is where you have the opportunity to put your two links in. You want to be clever in how you do this – not too salesy but not too discreet either. Fortunately UAW has some good guidelines and tutorials on this to help you along your path.
Other Features
One nice feature that Unique Article Wizard offers is the ability to change the author. This is great for large network marketers or those who publish under multiple pen names. My Article Network does not distribute the author information, which may have its own benefits for some, but for others the ability to brand an author or pen name may be important and UAW excels in this area.
Also, like MyArticleNetwork, you can schedule your articles to be released in advance so that you may batch them up and let them run on autopilot. This is really the best way to do it because you don’t have to be a slave to your article marketing efforts. You can dedicate a block of time to doing a months worth of submissions all at once and then let the software trickle them out for you and build your links on autopilot.
The Results
Don’t be miss-guided in your comparison of article submission products and conclude that the higher number of links directly equates to a better result. While UAW might not generate as many links as MyArticleNetwork, that is really an arbitrary point. The fact is that Unique Article Wizard is a much more mature product and it’s sites within it’s network, though fewer in number, are generally more mature sites with better rankings. Thus the link count or distribution count maybe slightly less than MyArticleNetwork, but the results are still in the same ballpark – sometimes a little better, sometimes not quite as good.
What We Didn’t Like About Unique Article Wizard
The Unique Article Wizard is surely the “veteran” of this crowd and that can be both a good and a bad thing. It has been around for a long time because it is very effective. However, the interface for Unique Article Wizard is by far the most cumbersome of all of these tools reviewed. There simply are far too many steps to go through and the architectural choice of creating the tool as a web product is highly suspicious. I would much prefer to see a desktop version of this product. The web interface is clunky, slow and buggy.
Pricing
The Unique Article Wizard is very affordable and a solid buy at $67 a month. While this is a bit more than MyArticleNetwork, it is the defacto “standard” in article submission software and has been for the past couple years. That maturity shows in the product and also the network and is well worth the investment. Power marketers will benefit from having subscriptions to both (as we do) so that you can run one article through both programs and get even more bang for you buck (as well as doing some manual submissions too). The $67 price tag is very economical for the amount of natural and self-building SEO benefits that this article submission tool will bring you.

UAW has worked for me for almost 2 years. But its becoming dated, the interface is too damn cumbersome and the $67 a month is a bit pricey in my opinion. I have signed up for MAN (I want Linkvana) and am trialing it right now and depending on my findings I will probably switch.

Here’s a recap, I have switched to MAN for good. The interface is sooooo much easier, the spinning is easier, the network is larger, and the price is cheaper. I gave it a 3 star because I am still emotionally attached – lol.

Bobby, why did you switch? I use both MAN, UAW and MAS and get great results. You can’t expect one tool to do it all, you need to have an arsenal tools. MAN distribute to a wide variety of blogs, UAW to niche and mature sites, and MAS sends to article directory’s. Don’t switch, add.

I been having great success with UAW for over a year and wont switch anything else. I agree whit articledude, it just a tool, add more tool war chest, dont think just one tool will do for you.

I agree with the other two above. I use both UAW and MAN and have recently added FTS to the mix. Using more than one service gives a nice variety of distribution and back links.

I think its a spam tool, just give people something they want on your website and your links will come naturally, you cant win gaming the search engines, google always wins eventually. I tried it and then cancelled because I decided I didn’t want spam. Plus i never saw any traffic in my stats coming from those sites my articles would up on. Granted I only sent 2 articles in 3 week period, but that was enough for me to see it wasn’t for me.

I use UAW for my sites and have gotten many of the sites to page 1 and higher. I also use Linkvana for quality, both combined have done the trick for me. Don’t even think about the price, I would pay double that, it’s a huge ROI for me.

My traffic and se rankings have gone up by using Linkvana and UAW combined. The only problem for me is writing. I hate writing 3 version of each each article I need to distribute.

Been using UAW for over 6 months for all my sites and I have over 100 of them. The results have been very good.
