MyArticleNetwork Review
Overview
MyArticleNetwork (abbreviated as MAN for the rest of this review) is relatively new on the scene of article submission, but don’t let that fool you. MAN has a very large network of blog sites – more than 20,000 of them. To date, this is one of the largest, if not the largest, network of sites available to the article marketer.
So how does it all work? It’s pretty simple, actually. You write an article, choose a category to submit it to and press a button and let MAN do the rest for you! Now, like everything in life, if you want the best results, it takes a bit more work than that.
Spin Away
One of the most powerful features of MAN is it’s ability to “spin” articles (see Spinning Articles For Unique Content post for more information). The approach that MAN uses for article spinning is manually controlled spinning and is the only recommended way of doing it. Any program which utilizes “automatic spinning software” should be avoided like the plague as it will just result in a bunch of garbage content.
You do not have to “spin” your articles, but it is highly advised. There is a parameter that the blog owners can control where if the article content is not at least 30% unique they can choose to automatically reject it. So, if you choose not to spin your content, your article publication rates will be impacted and the number of links you can get will suffer.
The easiest way to “spin” an article is simply to write two versions of every sentence. Each version will make the same points, but use different wording to convey that point. The end result is an article that is very well written yet completely unique as the software can programmatically and automatically create virtually unlimited versions of unique content just by randomly combining the various versions of your sentences. The order will be preserved, so the article will be very logical and congruent.
The Structure
Typically you would write an article anywhere from around 400 words to 600 words – but those choices are up to you. MyArticleNetwork allows you to embed three links into each article. The beauty of it is that these links can be anywhere in your article (not just in a cheezy resource box at the end) and there are no restrictions on the links, so direct affiliate linking, for example, is allowed. Every blog owner that accepts your articles must accept them “as is” with no modifications to your embedded links.
So, each article will net you three links with highly targeted anchor text that you select based on how you create the link. This is extremely powerful for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Another key feature is that the links can be “spun” as well. You can combine the spinning capabilities of MAN with the link building efforts so that you generate a few different links with your different versions of the articles, creating a much more “natural” link building process.
Other Features
One other very powerful feature of MyArticleNetwork is the ability to queue up a bunch of articles and just let them publish on autopilot. You can load in a bunch at once. Set them up. Then simple set the publication date in advance and stagger them so that you have a fresh article being released every couple of days or so. Load 15 in at once and queue up the entire month in advance and watch your links come rolling in on autopilot. Also, if you have a few Wordpress blogs as well and want to add content to them you can set them up to receive articles from the network as part of your subscription benefit. This way you can build out some of your other sites at the same time you are generating links to your primary site.
The Results
Your results will ultimately depend upon your niche and category selected, the quality of your written content, the amount of effort you spend spinning it and how many sites pick up your content. However, having used this software for an extended period of time now, I can tell you that we typically see 60 to 120 sites pick up our articles (with three links embedded in each article) over about a 30 to 40 day period. What We Didn’t Like About MyArticleNetwork
This is pretty easy to narrow in on because it is very frustrating. There is no way to group your articles or organize them. There should be some sort of user field like “project” or something that you could filter and sort by. For the average user this may not be a big deal, but when you have hundreds of articles in there it is a major pain. You essentially have to perform little “tricks” like putting the articles into a bogus category temporarily.
This is further compounded by the fact that if you spin the title of your articles (and you should), the list of articles will be different every time because it actually spins the title each time the list is displaying. This can really drive you nutz when you’re trying to find a specific article.
