Affilorama Premium Review
Overview
Affilorama is broken up into two products – Affilorama Blueprint and Affilorama Premium – both offerings by Mark Ling, a well respected veteran marketer. We have seen many of the promotions for these products in the past and honestly just never had the time to check them out. Recently, however, we purchased Traffic Travis to evaluate it as it was generating a lot of buzz in the marketplace and we wanted to see what it was all about. In doing so we went ahead and purchased Affilorama Premium as well to give it a look at the same time.
I really wasn’t expecting much from this product. That’s really not a fair stance to take and I certainly wasn’t the most open-minded person when considering the product. But the truth is I’ve seen dozens and dozens of the monthly subscription affiliate marketing sites/systems and have rarely if ever been impressed by them. Most are designed to simply get you to spend as much money as possible with them for the two or three months that you’re likely to stay subscribed and are packed full of hosting CPA offers and upsells to a ton of other courses, etc… That basic model rubs me wrong as it just tends to prey upon the those that are getting started. Anyway, let’s move away from my rant, but I wanted to be honest about my expectations before I tell you that I was very pleasantly surprised by Affilorama Premium.
What Affilorama Premium?

When it comes to membership sites, they generally fit into one of two categories. Category one is sites that know the math and realize that most people will cancel after the first two or three months and so they just load them up with all kinds of CPA offers and other upsells designed to get the most money they possibly can out of their subscribers as quickly as possible before the quit the membership. These are by far the most common.
The second type of membership sites just really go overboard with quality content that impresses you. These are really rare and I have to tell you after looking at dozens of these types of Internet and Affiliate Marketing membership sites, Affilorama Premium is by far the best that I’ve seen and I’ve gained a lot of respect for Mark Ling in the process of reviewing this site.
What does the Affilorama Premium Membership Offer?
The very first thing that impressed me about the membership was its magazine. It doesn’t appear to be a monthly publication, probably an every other month publication, but the quality is superb and I was very impressed. The current issue is #2 and is entitled “SEO – The Simple SEO Solution”. It is about 130 pages long and is very well written and chalk full of great information and advice – I was very pleasantly surprised. The monthly membership price for Affilorama is honestly justified just for this magazine in and of itself. I’ve seen many eBooks that are more expensive and full of garbage in comparison.

This is good stuff and even as a very experience Affiliate Marketer and SEO provider I was able to glean a couple of good nuggets from the content myself, so I know that it will go a long ways towards helping many of our readers. I printed it out and had it bound and I would recommend you do the same.
Each magazine also features an interview that you can download in mp3 format as well as PLR articles and a behind the scenes video. All content from prior months is accessible as well and all can be downloaded. The magazine itself is a PDF format.
But the membership includes a lot more than just the magazines. Oh, by the way, I just talked about the second issue above, but you also get access to past issues as well and the first issue entitled “Blog your way to affiliate success!” is also a great reference and is full of over 150 pages of terrific blogging advice.
I won’t have time to go into detail on each and every feature of the subscription because there is just so much included, but here’s a list of freebie tools that you get access to:
- Article Spin Tool – Yes, you’ve probably already got a spinner, but this is a very handy little tool for helping you do sentence level rewrites of your article.
- Website Ping Tool – Good for pinging your content/URLS to help get them indexed.
- Search Ranking Genie – A handy little search rankings checker – better than I expected for sure.
- Social Snoop Tool – This little gem provides you some insight to the social rankings of various social media sites for a given keyword.
- Optin Box Generator Tool – This tool helps you quickly create attractive optin boxes.
- Trusted Sites – This tool helps you find quality sites with the EDU or GOV extention in your niche or around a keyword so you can pursue linkbuilding opportunities with them.
- PPC Ad Generator – This tool shows you the adds that are appearing in Google for your keywords – great to give you some ideas of what others are doing.
- Popover Generator – This is a very extensive tool for a freebie and quite impressive. It will help you generate popover messages for your site and has tons of options and configurations available as well as direct Aweber list integration. I’ve seen $47 and $67 tools in this niche offer less and this is just a freebie.
- Market Strength Analysis Tool – You can use this tool to enter a keyword for a niche and then some details about the affiliate offer you’re considering promoting and it will give you some recommendations as to the strength of the market.
- Bullet Point Generator – This simple little tool helps you come up with good copy for lead in bullet points for sales copy.
- Keyword Suggestion Tool – This is just a simple keyword research tool but it is very useful.
- Article Compare Tool – This tool shows you how different two versions of an article are. It gives you the percentage difference as well as visual indication via highlighting.
- Backlink Checker – Does just what it says. Enter a URL and it will show you some of the backlinks for that URL and which search engine has found them.
- XML Sitemap Generator – This tool completely automates the generation of sitemaps – very easy and helpful.
- Google Adwords Quality Score Checker – This is a great little tool that helps you create high quality score Adwords ads.
There are about a dozen other free tools as well but we don’t have the time and space to cover them all. The fact is, however, that you’re getting a lot of helpful tools that will save you time and money in your marketing quest. Another nice feature of these tools is that they all run over the internet, you don’t have to download and install anything, don’t need any proxies or accounts and they even save reports so that you can access the data again at a later time for further research.
But the subscription is more than just a magazine and free tools – it also has tons of free content on affiliate marketing. There are dozens of lessons that are chalk full of quality information for both the beginning marketer to even an advanced marketer. The lessons walk you through all areas of affiliate marketing from an Introduction to Affiliate Marketing, to Pay Per Click, Market Research, SEO, Site Building, Marketing Ideas, Content Creation and some great insight articles and lessons as well. Also included is a blog and forum for additional information and advice.
Who is Affilorama Premium Intended For?
Mike and I have been doing SEO and Affiliate Marketing for years, but I was still impressed with this product – especially the magazine – which provides some great ideas and different perspectives even for the advanced marketer.
If you are a relatively new Internet Marketer, you’ll find a tremendous value in this product for its low monthly subscription price of $67 (and remember you can check out for a month for just $1). It gives you quality training and lessons to follow, good industry advice and monthly quality content. Most newbies will fail because of lack of action – that’s just a fact – but if you join up with a membership product like this your changes for success are doubled because it gives you a plan and guidance to follow.
Other Options and Features
There are other options with this product as well, the most notable being the Affilorama Blueprint which goes hand by hand into the process of creating your own affiliate sites. We did not purchase or evaluate this product separately, but from the research we have seen on it, it does appear to be another valuable tool for the new Internet Marketer or anyone not making at least $2k a month already in Internet Marketing. There is also an AffiloJetpack product that gives you everything you need to get rolling with Affiliate Marketing – templates, plugins, free eBooks to market, etc… Both of these products can be accessed from within your Affilorama membership.
Summary
We really have been quite pleasantly surprised by the quality of Mark Ling’s Affilorama Premium membership site. The content is very high quality and it is well worth the membership price of $67 a month. As we stated, just the magazine itself is worth the price of admission, and then when you throw in the other free tools, lessons and training, blog and forum access and, well, you’ve just got a tremendous offer. It’s refreshing to see high quality membership sites like this that restore our faith in an industry which at times can be very disheartening.
The product itself can be tried out via their basic membership before you upgrade and so there really is no reason to not check it out yourself for free and form your own opinion. After reviewing it pretty thoroughly we feel confident recommending it to you if you are new to Internet Marketing or are currently making less than $2k a month consistently in your affiliate marketing efforts. If you’re already making $5k a month or more you will likely know most of this stuff, but I still would recommend you check it out because even as seasoned marketers we found a few nuggets in the magazines and find the membership valuable for that alone (given the low cost).
