Backlink Booster Review – Quick Update
2/23/2011 – This is just a quick update of some good news that was recently released by the Backlink Booster team and we wanted to share it with you. They have been busy have a lot of good stuff scheduled to be released soon – so we wanted to let you know about it.

In our original review there were a few things that we said we’d like to see them add to the product to make it even more useful. Well, they did or are in the process of it… Thanks Tom! Here’s a list of items that have already been added to Backlink Booster and below is another list of stuff that is “in the works” and should be coming soon…
New Features Available in Backlink Booster
- Unlimited Websites – You are now able to add unlimited websites to your account – a welcome addition for sure. Previously there was a limit of just 50 sites – which is more than ample for most people – but it is still nice to see them remove this restriction entirely.
- Streamlined Account Setup – We didn’t gripe too much in our original review of the setup process, but we really like anything that can streamline manual configuration and it looks like they’ve made some nice changes here as well.
- They Do it For You! – This is our favorite new feature (well, actually service). Many of you won’t like it because it charges extra, but we believe it’s terrific. For a flat $15 fee they will setup all of your extra and optional feeds and such for you so that you get maximum exposure and boosting. They setup 32 web 2.0 profiles and setup Ping.FM account and tie it to the 32 web 2.0 accounts. Great stuff and really quite a bargain. At $15 it looks like they’re not even making a profit on it but just passing it on at discounted pricing – smart move.
What’s On the Horizon for Backlink Booster
There are several new features above but there are even more planned and we’re looking forward to some of these because they will really enhance the product. Tome Parsely sent out an email announcing these new features in development now:
- Tiered Linking Support – We’ll have to wait and see what that’s about as everyone has their own ideas on tiered linking.
- Faster Processing – Well, faster is always better. They’ve made some core system changes that should provide much faster link processing and boosting in the near future.
- New Boosting Limit – This is super cool. You have to read the fine print to understand the significance of this. Right now you can only boost up to 120 links a day per each of 50 domains. Now, they’ve already removed the domain limit – it’s unlimited now. But there is still a 120 link per day per domain limit in effect. So even though you get up to 3000 boosts a day with your subscription, because they limit to 120 per day per domain, you might only get 120 a day (if you only setup one site). With the new plan that has been announced you will get 3600 boosts per day with no limit per domain. So even if you only have 1 domain in the system, you can take full advantage of your subscription. That’s great stuff…
- IndexChecker and Auto ReBoost – These are two of our most anticipated features. As we pointed out in our original review, not showing you what is indexed or not is a big limitation in our eyes for a indexing and boosting system. Glad to hear they’re introducing this. The Auto ReBoost will also be a very welcome feature because it will allow you to make this software truly “hands off”. Setup it up and let it roll – no need to monitor every couple days, etc… just set it to automatically reboost everything until you take it out of the system.
- A new LinkSpinner – We don’t mess with the spinning of titles and such as we find it to be too time consuming for this type of product, however, improvements are always welcome.
