Comparing SEOLinkvine versus MyArticleNetwork
SEO Linkvine vs. MyArticleNetwork
There are lots of services out there claiming to be effective and affordable for building one-way links back to your site. They range the gauntlet from free to $147 a month for service for standard programs and upwards of $1997 a month for special access private networks. But they all have the same goal in mind – generate links and improve your search engine rankings. New to this scene is SEOLinkvine. So new, in fact, that at the time of this writing it had just been released for the first 100 users and then promptly “closed down” for limited access and beta testing. There is currently a waiting list for it, but don’t worry, the doors should be open again soon.
Price
One of the key factors in comparing a product to another is the price point and for that reason the comparison between SEOLinkvine and MyArticleNetwork makes perfect sense as they are both $47 a month on subscription. In fact, the two programs share much more than that as they are much more similar than dissimilar. However, there are some key differences which may make one or the other more appropriate for you.
The Network
In terms of network size, it’s difficult to compare. MyArticleNetwork claims to have over 20,000 sites in its network, SEOLinkvine on the other hand has so far been pretty “vague” on the network size. That should not be a surprise as much of this network will be built out by the actual users who add their sites into the network. The similarities abound from the simplicity of the interface, to the native support for “spun” articles and other features like scheduling for future submissions.
SEO Linkvine Advantages Over MyArticleNetwork
There are, however, several subtle differences that need to be pointed out. The first is a small and seemingly trivial interface difference, but for the power user it is quite significant. SEO Linkvine allows you to assign your articles to a project name that you create. While this doesn’t sound like such a big deal, wait until you have a couple hundred articles in My Article Network and are trying to find and manage them. This ability to save articles into a project and then filter by that project is a very nice feature of SEOLinkvine.
Another interface design issue that is subtle but very useful is the fact that when you spin your titles for the articles SEOLinkvine shows the name of the article as the complete unspun text. This is very helpful when trying to find an article. In MyArticleNetwork, for example, if you give five different titles to your article it becomes virtually impossible to find that article later. The reason is that the article listing screen just randomly chooses one of the five versions of your article title to display in the list and the next time it will likely be a different title. This is a very odd bug in MyArticleNetwork which has never been addressed since day one. Fortunately, SEOLinkvine learned from MyArticleNetwork’s mistakes and remedied this issue.
Article spinning is a vital feature for any of the many article submission sites out there and both MyArticleNetwork and SEOLinkvine have robust support for spun content. Both can spin the title as well as the content and both allow for three in-line or contextual links. The difference in the spinning support is that SEOLinkvine, being the new kid on the block, has significantly expanded upon what MyArticleNetwork offers. MyArticleNetwork has support for its own proprietary syntax using a combination of curly brackets, tilda’s (~) and square brackets ([ and ]). SEOLinkvine is much more sophisticated. They clearly are aiming to be a one stop solution for any spun format as they have native support for various different formats right out of the box. You can paste in an article formatted for MyArticleNetwork and it works just fine. Or, you can paste in an article spun from Magic Article Rewriter or TheBestSpinner and those formats work just fine as well. Lastly SEOLinkvine allows you to spin content directly within their interface as well (though I’m not sure why you would want to). Its spinner is rudimentary at best, but it does provide one.
Conclusion: SEO Linkvine Has More Features to Offer But MyArticleNetwork is Proven
The end result is that on a feature by feature comparison, the newer product, SEOLinkvine, appears to be a clear winner all things being equal. However, that’s exactly the issue – are all things equal? We don’t yet know the power of the network behind the frontend application so it is hard to give a true recommendation at this point. However, for the price you would be prudent to jump onboard SEOLinkvine for awhile and test it out for yourself. That being said, here at ArticleSubmissionReview.com we are still recommending MyArticleNetwork as the #1 choice – at least until we see proven results as to the strength of the SEOLinkvine network and the results it produces. However, as this comes from the Callen brothers (just like MyArticleNetwork), we expect good things to come.

Why would you not want to spin your content within their interface?

Hi Bethany,
You can certainly use their site for spinning – it is quite capable. Our observation was simply made because if you are really doing a lot of article spinning you’re probably going to want a dedicated solution that runs on your desktop. Dedicated spinner applications like our recommended The Best Spinner, have more robust features and are must faster to use. However, the spinner built into SeoLinkVine is actually quite good for a freebie. Hope that helps!

Hi Mark,
Linkvana and SEOLinkVine are really two different beasts. Though technically they are both blog networks, they really serve different purposes. SEOLinkVine, like MyArticleNetwork and UniqueArticleWizard, is a much larger network and much of the sites are user supplied. Meaning that users who join to use the network also add their sites to it to get free content. That is good because it gives you a lot of sites to post to, but they are not generally very high quality sites.
Linkvana takes a very different approach. It is a private network and is comprised of higher PR and authority sites – PR2+. Posts on Linkvana will generally not get you traffic, but they will add to the authority of your site and will help you more with rankings for your anchor text targeted keywords. While LinkVana is relatively expensive, we use it ourselves here at ArticleSubmissionReview.com because we find it to be effective.
Linkbuilding needs to appear “natural” and to do that you need lots of different sources. There is not just ONE tool on this site or that you will find anywhere that does everything you want to do for SEO – you need a mix. And honestly these two are a good compliment to each other.
I hope that helps!

I’ve Heard of another site called Article Marketing Automation.
After researching this site I heard that My Article Network and Article Marketing Automation are the same network just different
websites but they both belong to the same network. Not that its a bad thing but is this rumor true or false? And also since Matt & Brad are brothers will their two sites combine together like (M.A.N) & (A.M.A)and join networks to create a huge network?

Hello Leslie,
We cover Article Marketing Automation here: http://articlesubmissionreview.com/blog-network/article-marketing-automation-review
AMA and MAN did NOT join networks. MAN doesn’t actually have a network, MAN use’s AMA’s network. What MAN did was whitelabel AMA. They use the AMA network and backend, but use their own support and front end and billing systems and call it their own. When you join MAN you are joining the AMA network.
As far as SLV, SLV is its own network of websites. They are not using someone else’s network and calling it their own. Now they did borrow a large part of the interface from AMA/MAN but its theirs now. Can they someday join forces with other partners and make their network larger – sure it could happen, and I would hope that they do. In reality all 3 are using other peoples websites to power their networks, so the network is only as strong as the members who add their websites to it. I hope this helps…….

Is there any point in thinking about joining both MAN and SLV, or will they be posting to mostly the same blogs anyway?
All the best

Hi Sam, well, that depends. Not knowing what other tools you have or use will make it more difficult to answer that question. We personally belong to both SEOLinkvine and MyArticleNetwork.
However should you?
The thing is they are both completely separate networks. MAN is using the Article Marketing Automation network as their back end, and SLV has their own. Will some of the sites be the same? Inevitably there is nothing stopping a person from adding their website to both services to receive content, and I am sure some do, especially since both Matt and Brad are blasting their lists over and over about SLV and inviting people to join SLV.
But in reality, if this is your only means of backlinks I would advise against joining both MAN and SLV because they are both going to give you the same quality of backlinks. While these types of links serve their purpose, you are better off joining one of these and then signing up for another service such as Linkvana, Build My Rank or Backlink Solutions for higher quality backlinks. The upside of a service such as SLV and MAN is you can take 1 spun article and distribute that to 100 or more sites. But with a Build My Rank or Linkvana you will need 100 separate unique pieces of content. Backlink Solutions on the other hand provides quality and does spin. For a better understanding of the different types of networks and what they provide check out our FAQ page here: http://articlesubmissionreview.com/article-submission-faq
Let me know if this helps.

Hi, I have join SEOlinkvine for two months, and now i’m searching for another article submission software. I want to mix two or maybe three of them. Which one you suggest to me from these two software, My Article Network (MAN) or Build My Rank if you already have SEOLV? and what is the reason? Can You give me your opinion please? Thanks

Hi Frank,
Thanks for contacting us and taking the time to ask a very good question. Good job getting started with SLV, it is a good product for getting lower quality backlinks (don’t take that the wrong way, those are the links we need the most of). Most of the links you will get with SLV will be PR0 links of low authority, but that’s fine, like I said you need tons of those. You’re doing the right thing to “expand” to another service. Don’t cancel one in favor of the other, add a second with different link types to further diversify your linkbuilding profile. As you have already mentioned Build My Rank, I will focus on that. Build My Rank is an entirely different product and in a different category of product than SEO Link Vine and is a wise choice to “complement” it. With Build My Rank, you will get medium authority and PR links – PR2 thru PR5 – that will complement your linkbuilding efforts with SEO Link Vine very nicely. You may wish to also consider Backlink Solutions or Linkvana as well – they are in the same category as Build My Rank. There are pros and cons to all three. In a nutshell, BMR is the most affordable, Backlink Solutions allows spinning and can actually be more affordable when total cost of ownership (including cost of content) is factored in and while Linkvana is more expensive, it does offer other advantages such as social bookmarking and directory submissions as well as longer 250 word 3 link articles that make it an attractive option as well – more expensive, but more features. Check out the reviews on all three of those and see which one best suits your needs.
TIP: Backlink Solutions has just made some improvements to their interface and while it’s still a bit rough around the edges, we have found a method that makes it almost painless to use and *very* cost effective. With Backlink Solutions it allows you to post 150 word mini-articles with one link. But the kicker is that it accepts spun content. But what is really sweet is that its method for posting in “snippets” of content allows you to post in an entire “stream” of posts at once. A “stream” is simply a whole bunch of posts all saved into one big text file or text stream of content. Now, here’s where you can really take advantage of this. #1 buy The Best Spinner. The Best Spinner has a very clever feature that allows you to output your results into one text file (a stream) instead of just outputting to 30 unique files. So, you write a 150 word post. Spin it in The Best Spinner and then save it in the format that BLS needs for a stream. You then simply copy/paste that stream into BLS and you have instantly uploaded 30 posts in 10 seconds flat. Using this method you can be very cost effective with your content and linkbuilding needs. The Best Spinner is an annual purchase, so it is cost effective and when used this way with Backlink Solutions you can really save a ton on your monthly content creation time and costs.
FYI, Backlink Solutions may be closed to new users when you go to signup, but they “open up” once a month or so to fill spots as they open up. So if you want to use them, get on their waiting list: Backlink Solutions waiting list.
Hope that helps!

Hi Troy,
Thank you so much for your suggestions. It really help me to decide which article submission i really need to help my websites rank well. I think, i agree with you. I need SEOLV for link diversity, and now i need another software which can give powerful link. After i read some reviews about article submission software, I’ve decided to use Backlink Solutions. BLS price maybe looks expensive but i think since BLS can receive spun content it’s worth the price. I need maybe two or three article marketing software because i recently work for many websites and SEOLV is not enough to handle them.
Thanks Troy

Btw, i have try to join them through your affiliate link. I will never know if i didn’t try them, right. I see that they have 60 day money back guarantee.

You’re very welcome.
FYI, we are expanding ArticlesOnTap.com quite a bit and will be adding the ability to purchase a “stream” for BLS from us directly. We will write a highly spun article and then generate a “stream” of it for BLS so that all you have to do is “copy and paste” it in. In less than a minute you’ll be able to add 20, 40 or 100 posts to the BLS queue – just like that.
Also, you can do the same thing yourself via The Best Spinner as I said earlier…

Frank,
Most of the complaints stem from a poor usability or clumsy interface – as we ourselves pointed out. However, one thing that BLS has going for it that NONE of the competition does, is that it directly support spun content and, even better, allows you to “batch post” via a text stream. Those two features alone make it “worth the price of admission” for us and we have seen good results from it.
