Comparing Article Demon and Article Marketing Robot
Overview
Two of the best article submitters right now are Article Demon and Article Marketing Robot. They are both very solid products and picking one over the other is a bit of an arbitrary choice, more predicated on your preferences than big differences between the two products. We use them both and recommend them both, however, our personal preference is Article Demon for some minor reasons below.

The Similarities…
Both submitters are elite submitters and either way you figure it or rank them, they are #1 and #2 in the market today. Automatic Article Submitter used to be our top pick, but it does not provide the URLS of the submitted articles and its support has become problematic. Both of these submitters surpass AAS in features and quality.
Both Article Demon and Article Marketing Robot have a very important feature that we don’t know if any other submitter out there supports – they provide you with a URL list for your submissions. That is something that we’ve all been wanting for a very, very long time and we finally have it. Both products also submit to a large network of sites, support captcha solving, scheduling of submission, automatic account creation and verification, and are limited to Windows platforms.
The Differences…
The differences are pretty subtle and really will come down to personal choice. The program design and workflow is much more elegant and sophisticated in Article Demon. It appears to be written in Adobe Air (though I don’t know that for sure) and has a very streamlined and efficient design. In fact, Article Demon can even be installed onto a USB device. Article Marketing Robot is rather primitive in comparison. Article Demon also has a very elegant calendar based scheduling – this is the only submitter that we know of that presents this calendar view of your submissions.
In terms of stability, we have never experienced a single program crash with Article Demon, but have had several with Article Marketing Robot, forcing us to shut down the program and re-launch it – nothing too serious, but an annoyance and lack of stability all the same.
Article Marketing Robot, on the other hand, submits to more article directories than Article Demon. Our installation of Article Demon has roughly 1200 directories available and Article Marketing Robot has around 4200 directories – more than any other submitter we are aware of. That is what we see as the only advantage of Article Marketing Robot over Article Demon (that and a $30 less price tag).

One last point as to why we have selected Article Demon over Article Marketing Robot as our #1 pick. Article Demon is backed by a company that has a long established track record in this industry with other solid products such as Bookmarking Demon, Rewrite Demon and Blog Comment Demon. To give you an idea, Bookmarking Demon is on version 5 and has been well supported throughout those versions. The helpdesk support provided from Article Demon has been top notch and with their history of quality products and support, we feel that gives them the nod as well.
Summary
So, there you have it. As you can see, generally both of these products are very good and the differences are small. If price is your biggest concern, Article Marketing Robot is $30 cheaper. However, for a one-time purchase, we just don’t feel that $30 should be a major factor in your decision. If pure numbers of article directories is your major concern, then Article Marketing Robot is the best one as it submits to about 3x as many directories. However, in our findings, the most polished overall submitter to use on a daily basis is Article Demon.
Forget writing content, finding link partners, evaluating and testing the best networks - just let us do it for you cheaper than you can do it yourself. Get a mix of link types, unique content, high PR links, a monthly Press Release - plus reports and rank tracking.

#1. We own both because we bought both to compare them.
#2. We have many employees and linkbuilders, we have Demon and AMR available to use, along with lots and lots of other tools and services. You have to remember we are not your typical DIY SEO guys, we have teams of linkbuilders working for us, we have many copies of many tools.
For you personally I would not recommend using both. There is no advantage in using both.
