One of the most powerful SEO Linkbuilding networks around right now is Build My Rank and it has been for quite some time. Despite many of the big changes that Panda has caused for SEO, Build My Rank has weathered the storm very well.

How Does Build My Rank Work?
Build My Rank is a pretty straightforward and easy system to both use and understand. It works because it gives you quality backlinks that are targeted to the keyword/anchor text that you choose. Backlinks are what really drive your site’s rankings. Build My Rank gives you one link for every 150 words of content. So you create a small article of at least 150 words and then create a link for the keyword you want to rank and point it back to your site or, better yet, a specific inner page on your site. As you accumulate more and more of these keyword rich backlinks, you can begin to watch your rankings increase.

Part of this we discussed in the introduction – the fact that the content is unique. But there is more to it than that. I heard that Google’s Panda hurt Build My Rank’s effectiveness…
We have put thousands of posts through Build My Rank since the Google Panda update and can tell you that that is simply not true. Most of the people that are making these accusations are not doing proper SEO and not using Build My Rank properly. Here’s what we mean. Build My Rank is just like any other link source – it is just ONE SOURCE of links and should not be relied on for the ONLY linkbuilding you do on your site. No matter what tool you use, if you only use ONE TOOL then I can assure you that you won’t get solid long term SEO results. SEO is as much as an “art” as it is a “science”. The ideal goal of SEO is to appear “natural” when in fact it is a completely artificially manipulative process. Using just one tool will leave a “footprint” or a “linkbuilding signature” and that is not effective. Since the release of Google Panda, Google has become more and more sensitive to these “signatures”. So someone that was only using Build My Rank and nothing more may have seen a decrease in effectiveness, but this is not the fault of the tool but rather the one swinging the hammer. The best hammer in the world is only as good as the hands of the carpenter that swings it – don’t forget that.
Why do Buildmyrank articles have to be unique?
This is something that at first seems like a big negative. After all, you have to write a lot of unique content to use the Build My Rank service, but actually this is a benefit. Let us explain. After Google’s Panda update, many of these linkbuilding networks have fallen by the wayside in their effectiveness. This is because many of them do not require unique content and have seen their indexing rates just plummet to the point of being ineffective.

The truth is that there simply is no valid way of us doing a case study that you will be able to repeat. People that want case studies usually want guaranteed results and don’t understand the ebb and flow of SEO. The fact is that there are simply too many variables to adequately test and the results would not be indicative of what you would obtain.
The age of the domain used for testing, the linkbuilding history, it’s PageRank, the keywords and the associated niche – all of these and dozens of other factors will affect the results of the case study. We could do it, no problem. But what would it really tell you? It would not ensure that you would see the same results on your site and that is what most feel that a case study will do. Bottom line is that right now Build My Rank is one of the most effective linkbuilding networks out there – that enough should be reason for you to try it out for 3 or 4 months and see for yourself and at $59 a month it’s really a no-brainer decision – the closest quality competitor is nearly three times as much.
