Overview
The Web2Mayhem service is a website traffic and backlink boosting system with four basic components. The first element of this system that was developed by Jason Potash and Jason Katzenback is composed of videos and PDFs that are designed to train the member on how to improve free traffic, this can be awesome for someone new. From this component alone, it is obvious that it is not a system that promises members that all they have to do is sit back and watch the traffic to their sites grow. There is indeed some work to be done but the next component permits the members to work smarter.
The second element of Web2Mayhem is their software that automates several key processes that help with boosting site traffic. These are the Social Account Creator, Social Bookmarker, RSS Submitter, Pad Submitter, Blog Poster, Article Distributer, Content Spinner Tool, and Video Syndicator. The Social Account Creator facilitates the process of creating accounts in social networking sites. The Social Bookmarker makes it easy for members to bookmark their articles and websites. The RSS Submitter automatically submits the members’ RSS feeds to the best directories as a way to let them benefit from backlinks from these quality sites. The Blog Poster makes blogs at free service sites like Blogger.com and and them automatically publishes quality content on them. The Video Syndicator allows members to fill out five fields of information and then submit their video to top ranking video sites. It can be clearly seen that this software automates the various effective ways for maximizing the rank of your websites in the SERP’s (Search Engine Result Pages).
The third, and most important element of Web2Mayhem is Syndicate Kahuna, which is a network of more than 13,000 blogs where you have the privilege of submitting articles to other blogs for backlinks. Katzenback and Potash claim that they always make sure that only quality blog sites are included in the network, but they make no claims on Pagerank. Syndicate Kahuna works pretty much like My Article Network, Article Marketing Automation and SEO Linkvine do. Members upload their articles for submission, use a spinner tool to produce hundreds or thousands of unique versions of their article, and the system will automatically submit the articles one at a time.
The fourth element of Web 2 Mayhem is Web2Co-Op, which enables members to help each other through their social networking sites, such as Digg or Squidoo. With this component, a member earns points by performing certain tasks for other members. The other members in turn perform the same tasks back to other members and so on and so forth. These types of tasks are best handled by a virtual assistant if you have one readily available, if not they are simple enough to perform.
What We Didn’t Like About Web2Mayhem
There are a few more bonus elements that make up Web2Mayhem, such as the keyword tool, however in our opinion it doesn’t provide you any upside as opposed to using the Google Keyword Tool and therefore adds little value to the system. What is odd is that with all the tools at your disposal you would think it would make things easier for you, but in reality it seems like you wind up with a lot of extra work to do. But it is nice that all your tools are available in one place, and many may find great value in this alone. The Syndicate Kahuna network of blogs is a powerful system and the only real reason we joined Web2mayhem because Syndicate kahuna itself is currently, so this is your only way into the network at this time. But for the $97 price tag you can join Backlink Solutions and run your articles through a much higher quality network. If you are simply looking for numbers and link diversity and need any of the included tools that are package with the system, then Web2Mayhem may be your answer. Overall, Web2Mayhem could be a powerful tool for boosting your rankings as long as your are willing to put in all the work required. For us, we are going to save our $97, but we already have memberships to Linkvana, Backlink Solutions, Build My Rank, MyArticleNetwork, SEOLinkvine, Unique Article Wizard and others, so we don’t really see much of an added benefit for us, we have plenty of link diversity already. For someone who is looking to join just one huge blog network I would recommend any of the above mentioned article submission networks over Web2Mayhem, but if you have the need for all the included tools than it is value packed and recommended.

This is where you may get sticker shock, not that $97 a month is too much to pay for a huge blog network, we pay more than that for Linkvana and $997 for one other. But when you take into consideration that there are other huge blog networks such as Build My Rank, SEO Linkvine, My Article Network, Article Marketing Automation available for half the price, you have to think twice. But as stated earlier, for someone getting started and who hasn’t developed their own war chest yet, Web 2 Mayhem provides a very unique opportunity to get everything in one place along with some pretty good training to go along with it.
