Linkvana Review

Overview
Linkvana is by far our favorite article submission tool to date. Truth be told I would go so far as calling it our secret weapon (not so secret anymore I suppose). LinkVana takes a little different approach. I wouldn’t even call them “articles” but more “blurbs”, because each blurb is just 100 words. Like I said, they do things different. But different can be good. For each 100 word blurb you get one link and it is distributed to only one site. This service is not about getting hoards and hoards of links, but it is about getting good links. Most of the sites are PR2 to PR5 and those are nice links to have. LinkVana also gets you a wide variety of domain dispersion which is also very good for your SEO efforts.
Spin Away
LinkVana does not allow or support content spinning. They have contracts in place with their network of sites that prohibit any duplicate content whatsoever, so you need to put in that little extra effort here. Fortunately these blurbs are only 100 words, so it’s really not that big of a deal.
The Structure
One of the real benefits of LinkVana is its simplicity. There really is not that much to it and that’s what makes it so ideal. You simply create a project (just one per domain) and in that project you create your posts and submit them. Pretty straightforward. There are, however, some nice enhancements as well.
For example, LinkVana allows you to setup your links and anchor text so that you can just select them from a drop down to insert into your posts. While this doesn’t sound like a big deal, it can be a real time saver and help eliminate errors as well. One letter out of place and your URL is broken or your anchor text corrupt, so this feature can be very useful. Another benefit of it is that it makes it much easier for you to outsource your posting work. You can set it up once and have a VA just follow the steps.
Lastly, LinkVana also allows you to purchase the posts from an outsourcer for $2 a post and make your life even easier. (NOTE: We have found better prices than $2 a post through ArticleOnTap, an article writing services company.) Either way you go, you can avoid the tedious writing process if you want. If you decide to purchase through our link, we will continue to give you 25 free blurbs each and every month as long as you have an active subscription! How’s that for a killer bonus!
Other Features
Another nice feature is that as you hover over the list of the posts, it has a hovering popup that shows you the text of the post for quick spot checking. The link is also shown so that you can easily make sure the right anchor text is being used.
Scheduling of the posts is also critical to consistent and controlled link building campaigns and LinkVana doesn’t disappoint in this arena either. They have several different options to choose from – one a day, one to three a day, two to five a day, every other day, once a week, etc… You have very good control over the frequency of publication.
Linkvana Results
We like the results we have seen with LinkVana. Many of its sites get picked up by Google very quickly and that is a big plus. We have seen many of our links end up on PR3 and PR4 sites – a big plus. One irritation, but understandable, is that LinkVana does not produce a report of where your blurbs have been published to. You have to take their word for it, or do some sneaking searching around yourself. While we find this a bit irritating, we understand their hesitancy to expose their network of sites. Furthermore, we’ve generally been able to find our posts pretty quickly and easily – so we know we can trust them now.
What We Didn’t Like About LinkVana
Well to start with, it’s expensive. But in some regards I think that is a good thing as it probably has a more loyal and limited following. I must say the support was excellent and fast. The product is very simple so there is not much to not like, however, the fact that you only get one link on one site for each blurb is a bit limiting. I understand their model, but you do have to do a bit of work for that ONE link, whereas many of the other tools will get you several links for one article (though a much bigger article – 5x to 8x as big). So, if you factor in the time it takes to write 100 words for one link and compare it to 800 words or more for a spun article for a handful of links – it may be about even. And Linkvana does have an article network as well where you can place larger articles and get more links, as well as having added integration to submit these articles to major article directories as well as their network. For those that just cant afford or stomach the $147 price tag we strongly recommend Build My Rank as a Linkvana alternative. It is practically the same setup but for only $59 a month, be sure to read our Build My Rank review.
Pricing
LinkVana is not for the faint of heart. It is the most expensive of our publicly available Article Submission and link building sites and tools at $149 per month. However, you get what you pay for and LinkVana definitely delivers. Like any link building effort, you need to be patient and not expect dramatic results in 30 days. Unfortunately, SEO just doesn’t work like that. Stay true and consistent for 90 days and judge your results – you’ll be happy you did!

Freakin awesome is all I can say. If you are a spammer looking to just drop a crap load of articles on the web then dont look this way. Linkvana is all about quality, you give them quality and you get quality backlinks right back. I think the price is just right, cheap enough to be affordable and expensive enough to keep away the riff raffing spammers.

I used it for a few months, was fairly straight forward to use but really it was a one time gratification for each post. I would write a post, and it was good for one blog. To me it seemed like a lot of work for $147 a month. It was easy enough to write a 100 word post, but I forgot most of the time. Maybe I should have just bought posts from you guys, but then that just adds to my cost. I switched to using Callens my article network because I can at least write one article, spin it and just let it post to a multitude of blogs. I cant speak for its effect, I didn’t give it long enough to really see results, but for me my article network makes more sense. I would think if you can afford it a combination of linkvana and my article network would be very good. That’s my two cents anyway, cool site.

I used Linkvana for many many months, and I believe it did help my SEO efforts, many of the blogs were in fact Page rank 2 or higher, although I saw some that were PR1. But for $150 a month I wasn’t sure the ROI was there for me. I do know if you buy Linkvana they give you 50 credits, which you can use to get 25 blog blurbs written for you by them, and if you buy from the link above the guys that own this site are giving you 15 blurbs a month as a Linkvana bonus, so you could actually try the service out and get yourself 40 blurbs on decent blogs for it. But don’t expect to know if you like the service or not in 30 days. You need to give any SEO campaign a solid 3-6 months to see the fruits of labor come true, depending on your keyword difficulty that is, along with many other factors. I am considering joining again, but for $150 a month I am going to make sure I post a lot more than I did to truly get my money’s worth.

I have definitely noticed my traffic and rankings going up by using Linkvana and UAW combined. The only problem for me is writing. Each post you write is 1 blog post, not many like in UAW or MAN, but the quality of links is much better. So I try to write 2 to 3 100 word blog posts a day for Linkvana and it seems to be working also could always outsource your writing.

Hey Folks
I am planning on a Romantic Getaway and have set up my Linkvana campaigns for months in advance, so what I like is I set it up once for a long time and watch my rankings grow, even while on vacation in Florida.
See you in the spring!.

Linkvana is the best network I have laid my eyes on. Although its kinda pricey, it keeps the kids off the street. In many markets, this is an advantage. It does take months to move the dial in competitive places, and you’ll need to keep lots of content in cue. It’s money well spent, as it’ll give you the quality links you need to offset the other crappy ones. (I hope you’ve got many others
The interface it kinda klunky, but beats its competitors hands-down. If you do choose to go this route, I’d highly recommend you have a month of content before you hand over your credit card, as I wasted several months not having enough content to distribute.

I almost feel bad for leaving the review here, cause I don’t want the network to become too widely known!
Pricing $150 per month, plus the cost of buying content (unless you’re a nut and write content yourself
) keeps the network clear of amateurs. (recommend articlesontap.com for content).
Results are awesome. I’ve had a site shoot to the top for good keywords in a month.
I don’t recommend this network to anyone who is serious about SEO, because I don’t want anyone else to join and use it
))
PS
They added a separate article network to the membership, so you actually get access to 2 networks at once. Article network like the “blurbs” network is 100% unique and needs unique content.
Also, I’ve heard violators of link vana rules get warned once and banned the second time, which is good for keeping the quality on top of the pack.
The network is rotating, meaning blogs get dropped off once the posts cap is reached, which keeps tracks covered from Google.
What more can you wish for as an SEO?

I was gonna gripe about the price… until the recent PR update came out and I jumped up to a PR3 from a PR0 – so now I’m very content with it. I actualy think the high cost is good cuz it keeps out a lot of people and makes the network perform better for those that are in it. Besides, the other competitors like BLS have limits on how many links you can build per day which greatly reduce their usefulness (for me at least)…
You get what you pay for and Linkvana is proof of that.

Great review, I have been using Linkvana for a few months now,. One thing you should mention is that they just added an article submission service to Linkvana to compliment their new article network, so you can upload your Linkvana articles to article directories as well. Also the trial appears to be 14 days for $5 not 5 days. As somebody else mentioned be prepared to have lots of content, you don’t want to pay $147 a month and not fully use the network. I write my own Linkvana posts or have one of my assistants do it, since they are only 100 words, but I have just recently started purchasing Linkvana articles from your articlesontap service because they are half the price of what Linkvana charges. Thus far I am satisfied with the results, I do wish the service was a cheaper, but then again I also wish Bentley’s were cheaper too.

Hi Cal,
Thanks for the comment, we just fixed the 14 day trial. They used to have a 5 day trial for $5 and have expanded it to 14 days for $5. Even more of a reason now to give Linkvana a try risk free.
Thanks again,
Mike

One of the reasons I’ve been using Linkvana for so long (about a year now) is that they’re pretty tolerant about putting spun content on their network… they say they don’t allow it, but i’ve found if you do a good job of spinning – not crap, but good quality – that it goes through without a problem…
Anyway since it’s not really their desire to have this you guys probably can’t talk about it, but i thought i should point that out…

Well, here’s the thing really, what I like about LinkVana is that they allow me to save time and money. You see I outsource the writing and I get charged on a per word basis so the 100 word posts are really a godsend. On top of that, I really like how they limit one link per post. Call me weird, but I am of the opinion that having too much links in one place is not a good thing.

People would probably balk at their pricing, but I tell you, you get what you pay for. With most links in PR2 sites and some in higher PR sites, I have to say that I have received my moneys worth. The quality of the links you get more than justifies the fees they charge. And seeing how it improves your rankings in such a short time? It would make you feel that you’ve been given a budget price!

I’ve recently tried BuildMyRank, and found that their network is quite limited. Maybe I have been pampered by the vast network that Linkvana seems to have. Overall though, Linkvana is a really great service even if they don’t give you a nifty report to show you where your posts have been posted. But I did some random checks and have been able to locate them, so they earned my trust.

So far NOT impressed… This is day TWO now that NO SUPPORT has been given.. My username and Login that were sent to me do not work and the reset password is NOT emailing me… This smells of some guy sitting in his basement at night working at walmart during the day and NOT giving any attention to what people are paying for…..
On October 25, 2011 admin wrote:
@Jon – Linkvana is far from a guy in his basement. They are one of the oldest and most respected professional link networks in the business and have actually been revamping their entire network. I cant speak to the support issues, I haven’t needed support for years now, but i do know that from time to time they do have some login issues with their DB. But they are a professional company that has been around way before all the others – definitely not a basement operation by a Walmart worker – in fact Dave runs a multitude of web businesses and is very well respected in the industry. http://www.imreportcard.com/people/dave-kelly

Linkvana is still fine. Linkvana isnt the issue its the way G is treating the links. You need to use them for diversity, lots of varied anchor text. Not 50 posts to Linkvana with same anchor, but 50 Linkvana posts with 50 different anchors. Think of it as an authority growing service now, which will help you grow rankings organically. Not just an anchor text ranking machine.
