You list so many products on your website, how do I pick which one to use?
Our site was not setup to tell you which article submission or link building products to use. If anything it was setup to tell you which products NOT to use. The real answer to that question comes from you, what are your needs? What are you trying to accomplish with your article submissions? Are you article marketing for SEO or article marketing for distribution and name recognition? Are you really just in need of backlinks and could care less about article distribution? The reality is we can’t tell you which to use, we review the products that we use or have used and highlight their features and functionality and whether or not they have worked for us. Most of the article submission and backlinking products we review are broken down into 3 categories, which are.
We use them all, you may not need them all. For further clarification we will define what each of those above categories means and which products fall into those categories.

What do you categorize as an article submitter?
Simply stated an article submitter is a program that submits to MAJOR article directories. This is where things get hazy for most people. What we call an article directory and what yourself and others call an article directory may be two different things. We consider sites such as EzineArticles.com, Articlebase.com, GoArticles.com, ArticleDashboard.com, ArticleSnatch.com, etc. as article directories. However some people feel that any website that accepts articles can be an article directory. It’s semantics really, and I for one don’t care to debate it – so please don’t. But in essence we submit articles to TOP article directories such as the ones listed above. These sites hold some authority in Google, and a properly researched article can land on page 1 by itself from simply being posted on one of those above article directories. Additionally because these sites have some authority, they respond extremely well to backlinks. We have created articles, posted them to Articlebase and had them on page 1 the very same day. We have also sent backlinks to these same articles and had them reach a PageRank 3 by the next Google PageRank update. Now we don’t article market for people to read our articles and visit our site, it is simply a byproduct for us. We article market for quality backlinks. A backlink from a PR3 article on an authority site like Articlebase is a darn good backlink.
The article submission tools on our site that we review or list are the following:
- Article Demon (We personally still use this)
- Article Marketing Robot(We personally use this)
- Article Submit Auto (We personally use this)
- Automatic Article Submitter (We no longer use this)
- Magic Article Submitter (We no longer use this)
- Jetsubmitter (We no longer use this)
- SubmitYourArticle (We no longer use this)
- Article Drip Robot (We no longer use this)
- Article Post Robot (We no longer use this)

What do you categorize as a public blog network?
A public blog network is a network of websites consisting of many people’s websites. People like you and I can create a website, subscribe to one of these public blog networks and receive content for free from them. This is great for people who need content for their websites but don’t have the ability, time or desire to write or pay for their own content. This is also great for people who want to distribute articles for seo and backlinks because you will join a blog network, write an article and distribute it to these public blog networks. People will receive your articles and post them on their website. They will get free content and you will get your articles distributed and many backlinks as well. However these types of networks are notorious for lower quality websites. Most people who add their websites to these types of networks are adding low quality sites hoping that your articles will make them some Adsense dollars. Now keep in mind I said most NOT all, please don’t get offended if you are one of them. However the upside of these networks is that they are usually fairly large and you can get a fairly large distribution of your articles within a public network. We use public networks for link diversity and wide distribution and have seen many, many backlinks from them, but if you are using a public blog network as your only method for link building you will only get so far. Another important item to note is that all of these public blog networks allow you to spin your content so you can use one article for dozens and even hundreds of sites – thus cutting your ROI down significantly. Public networks have their place, even owners of these networks will tell you themselves they use many, many ways to get backlinks and content distribution, you can’t have all your eggs in one basket and expect great results, diversity is the key.
The public blog networks that we review or list on our website are the following:
- MyArticleNetwork (We personally still use this)
- SEOLinkVine (We NO LONGER USE this)
- Article Marketing Automation (We personally still use this through MAN)
- UniqueArticleWizard * (We personally still use this)
- Web2Mayhem
- SubmitYourArticle **
- Content Crooner *
- ArticleRanks (We personally still use this)
- Spin Distribute *** (We personally still use this)
* Unique Article Wizard and Content Crooner are not just blogs, their member sites consist of blogs and html websites and even some niche specific article directories. But for all intents and purposes they are still a public network of sites or an article distribution network and works in the same way.
** SubmitYourArticle has 6 major article directories and a small distribution network of sites/directories, etc. in its network. It is a sort of hybrid submitter and distribution network as far as we are concerned.
*** Spin Distribute has a few major article directories and a large distribution network of sites/directories, etc. in its network. It is a sort of hybrid submitter and distribution network as far as we are concerned.

What do you categorize as a private blog network?
A private blog network is a network of blogs that is privately owned. Meaning the same person owns all of these blogs, they are not owned by a bunch of different individuals such as the public networks. What this means to you is that a private blog network usually consists of high quality, high authority, high Pagerank blogs. These networks are usually more expensive, not only in their costs but also for content. You will find that most private networks will not accept spun content, therefore you either have to buy lots of content or you have to write a lot. The upside of this is that these networks usually flat out work and work really well at building you quality backlinks and moving your websites up the ranks. They cost more money because these private owners have a large network of websites to maintain and constantly rotate for their members; it’s a constant struggle for them to maintain a proper network.
The private blog networks we review or list on this site are:
- The Private Network
- Linkvana (We personally still use this for 2nd tier linbuilding)
- Linxboss
- Backlinks Ninja
- Backlink Solutions *
- Blog Blueprint
* Backlink Solutions allows you to spin your content, thus getting more bang for your buck on your content costs.

Do you guys really use all of these services and tools? Why?
Absolutely, Positively, Yes! And so much more that we don’t have listed here. But we will keep adding as we can…. Why? It’s simple, we have lots of sites, lots of clients and want lots of diversity. The reality is there is no one “magic” tool that will make your SEO life a dream come true. We use a mix of tools to get a mix of results and diversity.

If you guys really use all of these, geez, you’re paying a mint every month. How the heck does a guy get started without dropping that kind of money upfront?
You have to spend some money to make money. While it is extremely cheap to start up an online business venture, it still requires some money and lots of time. While you can certainly write your own articles and submit to article directory’s every day, and spend a good chunk of your day socializing on Facebook and tweeting on Twitter, I think you will find the payback on those tactics to be minimal if you even receive payback at all. Those tactics are time consuming and will suck your days away.

I am just starting out, what should I use?
Again, all we can do is provide our opinions and reviews, everybody’s needs and requirements are different. If we were just starting we would pick a product from each category and start there, Article Submit Auto or Article Demon for an article submitter, Article Ranks or MyArticleNetwork for a public blog network for distribution and Build My Rank for private network backlinks and we would add services from there. But keep in mind it doesn’t stop there, there is more. Two of the very first things you’re going to need are a spinner to get the most bang for your content writing buck and keyword research tools. For that we recommend The Best Spinner and Market Samurai and MicroNicheFinder.

Can you compare SEOLinkvine vs Linkvana or Magic Article Submitter, or can you compare Unique Article Wizard to Automatic Article Submitter or Article Submit Auto, etc…
These are not only questions we get, but search results we see in our logs. To truly answer these questions you have to look at the category explanations above and understand what each is and does. Some of these product comparisons we get asked aren’t even in the same category, so there is really no comparison. Linkvana and SEOLinkvine are two completely separate beasts. They don’t serve the same purpose or work the same way. To truly do comparisons you need to compare within categories.

Do you recommend an ebook or SEO course?
Well, Yes check out our products here: http://topmarketingstrategies.com/products

Why should we trust you?
For what? We are simply giving our opinions and reviews on effective link building and article submission tools we have used and use today. Take it for what it’s worth, there is no need to trust anyone, we aren’t asking you for anything.

You have affiliate links for all these products, aren’t your reviews biased towards one product?
Yes we do have affiliate links on our reviews, and we do offer bonuses to people using our links to make their purchase. We took the time to review and test these products. This is not some site where we regurgitate information from the sales page and hope to steal a sale. We actually purchase these products, use these products, test these products, and review them. This takes up our time, and time is money, but we enjoy it. If you find the reviews helpful using our affiliate links is a great way of saying thanks. Many people have sent us emails saying they appreciated the information whether they purchased or not. And lastly, everyone’s opinion is biased – that’s why it’s an opinion.

What is your testing methodology? How can we be sure we’ll get the same results you did?
The fact is there is NO scientific way to test these tools – none. Many people go to great lengths to try and “prove” to you their methodology – we don’t and we don’t even try. We are very pragmatic about this. Either we see results from a tool or product and we like it, or we don’t and we don’t! And you have no assurances that you’ll get the same results we got. In fact, we have no assurance we’ll be able to duplicate those results either. Regardless of what other sites may claim, there are simply too many variables that are out of your control. Every niche is different. The history on your domain may be causing adverse or positive effects related to others. Link and site authority is in constant flux. The reality is most people want opinions and real life experience – and that is what we offer – our experience.
One other thing to keep in mind is that it is not at all uncommon to get great results for a couple or three months and then they start to taper off. Why? You probably have hit the point where you have exhausted your exposure to that network and are not getting new domain links. You’re still getting links, but they’re likely from the same ole sites as the past three months and so their “impact” begins to wear off. That is one of the main reasons we use so many of these tools – so that we can “cycle” between them every now and then.
