The Best Spinner Review
Overview
Every once in awhile one of those “got to have it” programs comes along and gets a lot of attention. We tend to ignore a lot of the fluff in Internet Marketing and focus on what we know because every week yet another tool or info product is being hyped as the greatest thing since sliced bread. Up until recently we had not tried or purchased The Best Spinner and for that reason we haven’t had a review up here (sorry about that). But hopefully by now you’ve realized this isn’t the typical “review site”. We don’t just throw any product under the sun on the site, but rather just products we have personally used and can give you honest feedback about.
We hadn’t purchased The Best Spinner for one reason -we had been very happy with Magic Article Rewriter. However, recently after several readers suggested we take a look at it, we took the plunge and purchased The Best Spinner. I am very glad that we did. It’s not perfect, but right now it does live up to its name as far as we’re concerned here at ArticleSubmissionReview – it is indeed the best spinner available. Take a look below for more in depth analysis.
Spin Away
Clearly this is a spinning tool and so spinning is what it does best. That being said, the way that this tool has differentiated itself from the rest of the crowd is its novel groupware design. Here’s what I mean. Rather than one programmer trying to create or outsource the creation of the synonym database that is used, this program actually dynamically builds the database (and constantly expands it) “on the fly” by the very nature of the users. As each user works with the program the substitutions that user makes get added to a master database that becomes available to all of the users. The more users there are, the better the product becomes. This groupware concept is very powerful and the results are very good, albeit imperfect.
Another feature that is different in The Best Spinner is that it allows you to remove the original content when you add synonyms. So let’s say you highlight the word “article” and then add several synonyms of “blog post”, “content” and so forth. The best spinner allows you to replace the original term “article” so that it no longer appears in your spun document or any of the spun versions. This is a terrific feature for people who are purchasing PLR content, for example, and want to use a spinner to “rewrite” the content without having to manually rewrite it. You can plug it into The Best Spinner and spin away, removing the original content as you go and making your new version completely different from the original. Great feature.
The Structure
The basic concept and structure of the program is very similar to Magic Article Rewriter, however, in every small detail The Best Spinner takes significant strides forward. It is much more refined and polished than any of its competition and that is saying a lot because there are a lot of article spinners out there and many of them have several years of refinement under their belts. It uses a nested spin syntax so you can spin within variations as well. This is very effective. For example, let’s say you write an article from scratch and want it to be highly unique and so you rewrite every sentence in the article twice. Using nested spinning, you could create two separate versions of each sentence and then spin the individual words and phrases within the sentences as well.
The functionality is similar to other spinners in that you paste in content and then proceed to “spin” that content via one of two methods – a manual selection of synonyms (both for words and phrases) or an “automatic” pass wherein it goes out and spins the entire document for you. First of all, the dream of any marketer is “automatic” anything, so we’ll focus on that feature first. Unfortunately, like anything else out there, the claim is a bit “too good to be true”. The best spinner does a very admirable job of auto-spinning your document but you will still have to manually review it and you will likely find several flaws to correct. But that’s really not the point I want to emphasize. What is really different about The Best Spinner is that it takes a different approach to this automatic spinning process that does yield much better results than the competition – though still not perfect.
The first different thing that it does is that it uses the groupware mentality to do the spinning. Again, rather than using a hardcoded synonym lookup database, it pulls the data live off the Internet real time and performs the substitutions based on the “favorites” of all of the users. The second area that it is different is that it gives you three levels of control over this process wherein you can select from a balance of more spinning versus better quality. This is a very useful feature and I applaud them for including it. Unfortunately many people abuse spinning software and for that very reason it has a bit of a tarnished reputation in the industry. Spinning software can be very powerful and if used (or shall we say abused) inappropriately it can really generate some junk content. This quality control measure is a great feature that allows you, the end user, to determine or at least influence the degree of aggressiveness in the spinning process.
The second method is manual spinning. Here you will go through the document and select keywords and phrases that you want to spin and then select from the options available or add your own. Now, this is not rocket science and all of the spinning tools we’ve ever used do this exact same thing. Once again the difference with The Best Spinner is that degree of refinement that is evident. They have designed the tool in such a way that even this tedious and manual process is pretty quick and easy. First you hardly have to touch the mouse if you don’t want to – THANK YOU! It’s very refreshing to see a program designed for the touch typist amongst us who loves to do everything possible via the keyboard. You can just “tab” your way through the document and select synonym words and phrases as you go. Describing it just does not do justice to the software engineers who created it – it is very refined, elegant and fast to use. A terrific interface.
You can use this technique with any spinning program to vary your text even more. The concept is making select sentences or blocks of text “optional” so that they are excluded in some versions of the rendered content. To do so, just put the first option after the opening bracket as an empty parameter. For example, in The Best Spinner, it uses curly brackets and pipe signs for delimiters – {version a|version b}. To make that whole sentence optional simply write it like this: {|version a|version b). Now there are technically three options for the parser to choose and the first one has no content, thus it would just skip this sentence. Remember to format properly for your spaces between sentences when using this technique otherwise you’re likely to leave extra spaces in the content.
Other Features
There are many other subtle features that echo this same theme of solid design, forethought and elegant interface. For example, it will allow you to export your spun document into another syntax supported by other industry tools or submission sites and/or software. This is no big deal, most any good spinner offers this feature. But The Best Spinner takes it one step further and lets you define custom formats yourself making the product not only more extendible but making it more flexible for you as well.
Another feature that is offered is quite immature at this point and hard to really critique what its value will be, however, it’s a great idea and worth mentioning. There is a repository or article directory that you can submit as many articles to as you wish (in spun format), and anyone that is a user of The Best Spinner can get access to them. Your links are supposed to be left in tack – that is the benefit for you. So, if you want free content you can pull it from the directory but you have to leave the author’s links as is, or if you want to allow people to use your content you can do that, and get some backlinks from their use. Currently there are very few articles in the repository so it is hard to suggest how useful it is. I like the idea, but I’m afraid that people will not abide by the rules and perhaps render it useless. Also there is the questionable issue of enforcement. Since the content is spun content it will be hard to track down those who are violating the terms. Time will tell if it turns out to be effective or not.
The Results
This is a very strong product and receives our highest endorsement. Since using The Best Spinner, Magic Article Rewriter seems a bit archaic in comparison. I do still like the tool and we do still recommend and endorse Magic’s program because it is solid and is a bit more affordable than The Best Spinner. That being said, my #1 recommendation would be The Best Spinner unless the small price difference was really that critical to you.
Listing features is really not the best way to review this product because it’s features are very similar to every other spinning tool out there. What sets The Best Spinner apart is the refinement and implementation of each of those features. It appears to have been written by someone who uses it because there is a great deal of attention to deal throughout the entire design.
What We Don’t Like About The Best Spinner
We’re big fans here at ArticleSubmissionReview of software that is Internet based as opposed to a software program you have to install on your local computer. Today it just seems so much easier to have centralized management and usage especially if you work remotely, have several computers, work, home, notebook, or have va’s doing stuff for you etc… The issue I have with The Best Spinner is that it is kind of the worst of both options. By that I mean because of the groupware features, it requires a live Internet connection but at the same time it installs programs locally. I was having intermittent Internet outages while using it and I must admit at that point I began to consider going back to Magic Article Rewriter because it is at least 100% local. Being a former software developer and programmer myself I would like to see them add the ability to use the tool in an “offline” capacity.
Another issue that I had was that it crashed a couple of times when I was using it and it “hung” several other times. When I say that it “hung” I mean that it was unresponsive for a period of time, but it did come back without crashing. This was probably related to my failing Internet connection issues at the time, but regardless, I think in this respect the software shows that it is still pretty new and a little rough around the edges in terms of bugs and error handling. I’m sure that will get worked out in time as bug fixes and enhancements come along and it was not “serious” but it was a flaw nonetheless.
Pricing
The Best Spinner sells for $84 and it carries an annual renewal. The breakdown is $7 for 7 days and then $77 annually. This makes it quite a bit more expensive than Magic Article Rewriter which sells for a one-time price of $47, however to get similar functionality from Magic you need to purchase the token database for $37, which makes it $84 as well. That being said, to me it is worth the annual subscription for The Best Spinner, because the quality is simply that much better. Spinning is something that is tedious and when you put the work and effort in you want a tool that does everything it can to “assist” in the process. In that regard, The Best Spinner does not disappoint and for that reason – time savings – we give it our highest recommendation. If you simply can’t stand the idea of an annual fee then you should look at Magic Article Rewriter, but it is second best for now. Remember, to get the “maximum” affect out of Magic Article Rewriter, you need to buy the Magic Tokens option separately and it sells for an additional $37. This addon gives you functionality that comes built in with TheBestSpinner, so it’s a fair comparison. That makes it $84 for Magic and $84 for The Best Spinner – although there is still the annual renewal cost. All in all, I feel the $84 for TheBestSpinner is “the best” deal, and if you can’t afford $77 over the course of one year, well it’s probably time to pack it in.

It depends on what you are doing. If you are manually submitting, then you take 20 unique versions from TBS and submitted a unique version to each directory for maximum effect. The answer is a mixed bag – a “yes” and a “no”… While you cannot directly choose the percentage of unique, you can ensure that it is as unique as possible. First of all, let me explain. The percent unique will depend upon the level of effort you put into the spinning process. So if you do not spin it sufficiently there is nothing the tool can do to fix that issue for you. However, here is what The Best Spinner does. On export it has a check box that you can select that says “Select N-th synonym from each spin block”. Here’s how it is described:
Ensures each spin is as unique as possible by taking the first synonym from each spin block for the first article, the second synonym from each block for the second article, etc.Now, let me explain a little further. Let’s say you manually spin every single sentence in your article so that you have two completely unique versions of every sentence. Now, if you were to export with this “N-th synonym” option selected, you would get 2 articles that were each 100% unique because the first one would use the first version of every pair of sentences and the second one would use the second version of very pair. Make sense? Now, if you are just using random spinning throughout and not exact pairing, it still works fine. It will simply randomly select for those groupings that have less versions that others.
So while it doesn’t give you direct control of the percentage of uniqueness like you’re asking, it does solve the problem by allowing for the maximum uniqueness possible.

To answer your second question, well, it all depends. How’s that for a non-committal answer? LOL… sorry, but honestly it really does depend upon your goals of the spinning. We take a pretty pragmatic approach to spinning. Our real goals are #1 title variation because we can target multiple keywords in the title which often becomes the url and #2 anchor text variation so that we can target multiple keywords or derivations of the same keyword (plurals, for example). Those truly are our top 2 goals. The #3 goals is to get the article approved – that is really the only other reason we spin them, to get more distributions… So you just have to use trial and error to see. Generally though we only use 2 sentence variations for our spun files and sometimes we’ll do a secondary level of nested synonym spinning on top of that.

Its a great tool, but users should be able to cancel accounts after buying it and upon renewal should have the choice, i hate forced continuity programs, they just piss me off and then nothing pisses me off worse than sending emails to a company that never get responded to and no etiquette at all, there was never an apology, i contacted them because not only did it stop working but it would not allow me to do anything, perhaps a side note of canceling in paypal
Its a great tool but what do you do when the thing stops working? Thats how i evaluate a company, because things dont always work to plan and what would have happened if i was out of the 2-3 month rage of being able to raise a dispute with paypal?
I would have been sitting with the best spinner not spinning making it the worst spinner with no support.
Would i buy again “Sure” it honestly is the best spinner, would i think twice before buying again through their support “100% for sure”

Comments are either held in moderation, or sitting marked as SPAM. We receive literally 100′s of SPAM comments on this site DAILY. If we didn’t moderate comments they would be garbage. We don’t selectively delete real comments or post others, but we do delete obvious SPAM, and some real comments may end up in SPAM and never posted or even seen by us because we don’t have time to sift through 100′s of comments in spam every day, so we just delete them all, or it could simply be waiting to be moderated, which we try to do a couple times a week.
As for the support issues, Jon sent an email out stating that they were inundated and backlogged at their support center due to the immensely popular SENukeX launch – both from his sales as an affiliate and because it integrates with TBS. Obviously this doesn’t help you, but he is aware of it and did email subscribers on it.

The process of spinning is an interactive one. While the Best Spinner can do automatic spinning we do NOT recommend that. What we recommend is that you go through the article using the Best Spinner. It guides you through the process offering alternatives, etc… You do not have to manually mess with the syntax, though understanding it is important.
If you purchased our spun articles you can do it either way you like. You can submit them as is or you can further spin them. We do manual rewrites of every sentence and do not use The Best Spinner for this level of spinning, but you can take our content and then do synonym level spinning on top of it if you like.
